Always LOVE Oh Joy!’s “This & That” posts. Of course this turquoise feature is no different!
Seriously though how she finds these similarly inspired but completely different function items is beyond me - click the above link to check out an archive of this genius!
Not to mention I just clicked over to Need Supply Co. for the dress and its actually quite affordable, but dang it they don’t have my size… Hmm perhaps I need to go peruse for other options - see you in a bit!
I’m seriously not sure what I would do if I came across this pile of peonies. I mean that’s even just fun to say - try it - pile of peonies!! I’m pretty sure I would do one, if not both, of the following 1) go completely broke out of lack of self control and/or 2) dive right in!
Happy almost weekend & sunny day (finally!) - at least here in Beantown.
Also from the genius that is Oh Happy Day!
I basically think that step full of colorful streamers is the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen!
From Oh Happy Day!’s work for Anthology magazine.
Today I borrowed some imagery from Karen over at The Art of Doing Stuff. These are images of her family doctor, who is also a farmer,’s farm. Not even joking, how much do you love that?!?

If you don’t read The Art of Doing Stuff already, you basically need to start now - as in immediately. It’s my daily source of humor.
Yes it is indeed ridonculous how much I love rannunculous!
These lovelies are NO exception!

And along the way a new blog to check out….as if I needed another! :) Originally peeped at Ruffled…traced back to Sweet Eventide in its original content.
Those of you who know me well know that a good baguette is one of the 5 food items I’d bring with me to a desert island (delicious butter, lemonade, avocados and some good wine being the other 4… in case you were wondering). That is why this image is just heaven.

I know that I just posted about anemones, but I can’t help but share these gorgeous images from Sullivan Owen. I just love how delicate they are with their dark mysterious centers. Ah divine!

In the spirit of round-ups how about a spirits round-up!
Its important to note the main criteria of this round-up was how pretty the bottle was, basically nothing to do with the taste of the contents inside but I mean with a label like these how could they be bad?
Love Joy vodka - handcrafted in small batches from Integrity Spirits. With all these fabulous labels, why choose just one?
Beyond just the gorgeous packaging & branding St-Germain Elderflower Liquer is even more appealing when you realize how it is crafted. “It is in the foothills of the Alps for only a few days in late spring, where we are able to gather the delicate blossoms to make our liqueur. In order to acquire enough of the flowers during the short 2- to 3- week window of blossoming, French farmers are organized to deliver sacks of the elderflower blossoms to local depots, some using specially rigged bicycles. “

Can you even stand it??? Also you might care to know my favorite drink at my local watering hole features St. Germaine… its called the Dorchester - yum!
In my personal opinion gin = blech. However a Hendrick’s Gin bottle on the other hand, this I could have around!
Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction’s ROOT & SNAP, Root Beer flavored spirits & Ginger Snap flavored spirits…oh the possibilities! And pretty possibilities at that all the better!
A remarkable display not only of fascinating artistic ability, but also a fantastic commentary on the current state of education in the world &, in one opinion, over diagnosis of ADHD in America.
My favorite quote: “We shouldn’t be putting our children to sleep, we should be waking them up to what they have inside themselves.”
As I spend my 9-5 Mon-Fri in a typical office environment in the biotech space I’m grateful of the intelligence & collaboration surrounding me as we (as an industry) forge through to find new solutions & treatments to long ignored rare disease. However I can’t help but also feel we are indeed boxed in to some regard to the 9-5 daily operation of a business. PINE helps “awaken” that creative desire and outlet for me and no doubt the creativity that is shared by others through Tumblr awakens my senses each day.
Watch. Be mesmerized. And Enjoy.
