Can’t you picture it now? A gaggle of these garden chairs, a mojito in your hand, sunshine up above and a vase of tulips gracing the table?!?
That’s all I’m asking for - its not much, right?
I sure do!
Check it out. Table-top made from floorboards circa 1852. We can’t wait to get it set up in the kitchen!

And its a “transformer” to boot…for now we are setting it up on an island to create some more storage in our kitchen…but someday in the future we will move on to a bigger space and we can take the table-top with and transform it into a proper table. Boo-ya!
Seriously is he not the most professional amateur woodsmith you’ve ever met? Love it! (and him!)
Do you suppose a linen blanket is all that comfie?? I’m not too sure, but I know I sure do like the look of this little gem. I’m picturing more as a picnic blanket - also a necessary blanket type of life!

Linen Blanket from Alder Co.
Speaking of which I haven’t had any picnics yet this summer, hmmm I should take care of that!
Its not hard to convince me to Snug Up and Cozy Up on the couch, but these lovely blankets make it even more attractive! Lately I’ve been obsessed with all things graphic pattern…particularly chevron - while technically I suppose this is really herringbone, its of that “ilk” and bottom line, I like it. So there.

I really don’t understand how you are supposed to choose just one I mean look at all those pretty colors! Too bad they are over $200 each - yikes!
I love a good barn door, in fact I narrowly avoided purchasing one this weekend at the SOWA Vintage Market…its still on my radar don’t you worry.
I digress…
My point is I love a good barn door for all its uses: desk, back drop for pictures, structural support for some rustic shelves, headboard…the lists goes on. However how about when a good barn door is used for, well, a door! Brilliant!
For a tight space this really allows you some extra options since you don’t have to take into account the door’s swing. Plus its just an awesome architectural element - pair that with the awesome styling of this room and I think you have a winner!

As a bonus…House Tweaking is also home to this clever headboard:

Yup, you know you’ve reached a new level of cool when you are jealous of a laundry room and you settled into your pajama pants at 8:32pm last Saturday night…
But I mean really how can you not be jealous of this beauty?
Lets get a close of up that pegboard shall we? Gorgeous.

Don’t mind if I do!
How cute are you? No clue where this would be the most appropriate decor, however I do think you are adorable. Perhaps if I had a big ol’ loft apartment, could you imagine them hanging down over a large wooden farm table - oh heaven.
