I’m seriously not sure what I would do if I came across this pile of peonies. I mean that’s even just fun to say - try it - pile of peonies!! I’m pretty sure I would do one, if not both, of the following 1) go completely broke out of lack of self control and/or 2) dive right in!
Happy almost weekend & sunny day (finally!) - at least here in Beantown.
Also from the genius that is Oh Happy Day!
Yes it is indeed ridonculous how much I love rannunculous!
These lovelies are NO exception!

And along the way a new blog to check out….as if I needed another! :) Originally peeped at Ruffled…traced back to Sweet Eventide in its original content.
Every year I swear I’m going to do one of the following things:
Ask me if I’ve done any of the above…go ahead ask me.
As you might expect, the answer is a big fat NO! And as each winter (painfully slowly) comes to a close I start wondering once again…did I put a plant in that corner last year? What do you suppose was in this empty space…something that will come back or an annual that’s gone forever?
So its with the best intentions (again) that I type this post, I’m trying to fool myself into believing that even though these are more complicated & labor intensive the sheer fact that they are pretty will motivate me to take the time to stake my garden…check back with me in 2012.
Without further ado, someone who is less of a procrastinator then I has made these colorful, re-purposed fabric square plant stakes - ENJOY!

For the full DIY check out the post in its entirety over at D*S. Way to go Ashley, I salute you!
I know that I just posted about anemones, but I can’t help but share these gorgeous images from Sullivan Owen. I just love how delicate they are with their dark mysterious centers. Ah divine!

Nope, not the sea creatures, the flower kind - couldn’t you just die?!?

From the fabulous ladies over at Studio Choo. I bought some roots for anemones at the Boston Flower show…We’ll see how it goes!
I stumbled upon the W Files and basically realized that this person is planning the same wedding I am - I’m not surprised that if you’re drawn to sone or two similar photos out in the blogosphere that you are drawn to many, but it was uncanny how many images I had either saved or seen already myself.
This however was one that I had not - what a cool way to reinterpret something you see everyday! You have to have pretty hardy flowers…or a way to provide them with a bit of water on a not so steamy day - but none the less I thought it had quite an impact!

I love Studio Choo’s flowers, as you already know from my post about the Prairie Collective, but especially loving this little vignette they’ve created.
